Ridiculous Overwatch 2 Gameplay Shows Junkrat Riding Pharah, Gets a Double Kill (189 views)

20 Mar 2023 14:10

A insane game of Junkrat riding an enemy Pharah in Overwatch 2 resulted in a double kill for the player. The Overwatch 2 clip, which provides yet another illustration of exactly how lethal Junkrat can be, left many gamers perplexed and startled. In the game, players can prepare an ample amount of Overwatch 2 Coins.

Junkrat is the damage hero in Overwatch 2, who uses explosives and traps to deal heavy damage to his opponents. His abilities include the Frag Launcher, a bouncing explosive projectile; a concussion mine, which knocks back enemies and launches Junkrat into the air, and a stationary steel trap. Finally, there's his ultimate, Rip-Tire, a spiky exploding tire that he winds up and drives. He also has a passive ability called Total Mayhem that makes him invulnerable to his own weapons and also allows him to drop bombs after death.

Many Overwatch 2 players have found unique ways to use Junkrat's abilities in-game, with Reddit user hentaihavenman sharing how they pulled off an impressive mid-air stunt. In the 17-second clip, Junkrat can be seen leaping high with a Concussion Mine and staying on top of Farah Eagle for a second. Afterwards, the player is able to tighten the Rip-Tire in mid-air, killing two opponents, including the Pharah.

In the comments, many players were amazed that Junkrat was able to use his ult in the air, others said it was not actually possible. It has been explained that this may be a bug in Junkrat registering the Pharah's hitbox as solid ground, which is why the player is able to launch Rip-Tire from above. Still, many were amused by the video and compared it to a Looney Tunes cartoon.

Overwatch 2 is no stranger to bugs and glitches, which have been shared by many players since the game launched in October 2022. These include ability glitches, glitchy skins, and a bug that would cause heroes to deal less or more damage than usual, among other things. Developer Blizzard has worked hard to fix many of these issues to improve the player experience, and it's possible that this Junkrat bug will be fixed at some point.

Despite past complaints, Overwatch 2 seems to have a steady stream of players. Blizzard is also working on new features to make the game even more exciting, like special queues for high-ranked Overwatch 2 players and more PvE content. Like any shooter, Overwatch 2 can suffer from game-breaking issues and sometimes hilarious bugs, but these aren't things that patches can't fix--though some Junkrat fans might want it to stay that way.
